Wetland Studies and Solutions, Inc. (WSSI, a Davey company) is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our team in Millersville, Maryland. The successful candidate will provide support to all staff and departments at this location, and will act as a liaison to teams at other locations. Duties will include but are not limited to the following: -organizing and maintaining project files -maintaining various databases including contacts, proposals, and projects -screening and handling phone calls -scheduling and meeting/event logistics -preparing hard and soft copy project folders and reports -maintaining and ordering office and field supply inventories -miscellaneous errands -data entry into accounting and marketing software (Clearview and Cosential, respectively) -mileage tracking and reconciliation -assisting with the preparation of proposals, including writing and tracking -contract review and project setup -coordinating with marketing team on office-specific marketing initiatives -drafting and editing correspondence, memoranda, and other documents
The ideal candidate will have a passion for quality work with excellent organizational abilities and strong attention to detail. Must work well under pressure and be able to manage several priorities in a day; must be adaptable, creative and self-motivated. Experience working with environmental consulting and/or engineering firms preferred but not required.
Qualifications: -5 years of relevant experience -BA/BS degree preferred -Mastery in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook -Excellent oral and written communication skills
